Pancakes

Untitled

So, I made some pancakes this morning.

Hubby: The positive side of being married is to have fresh pancakes in the morning.

(then he continues…)

But the negative side is that now I have to SHARE with 4 other people whom I don’t know for the most part of my life!!!

Any guess what he will have for breakfast tomorrow?

Everyday pancakes

(Adapted from New York Times)

For 6 servings

250g all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbs sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
2 tbs butter (melted)
Additional butter to grease skillet

  1. In a large bowl, whisk all dry ingredients together.
  2. Add eggs, then gradually stir in milk and melted butter. Mix only enough to moisture flour (it’s okay to have some lumps).
  3. Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Grease with some butter. Then ladder one cup of batter onto skillet. Cook for about 2 minutes, flip and cook for another minute or so.
  4. Serve hot.
