Okay, I’ve been spoiled rotten. I admit!

Traveling on your birthday is never easy, unless you got into the plane and saw this:

And once you arrived to your destination, the staffs throw you a surprise dance and cake:

Then there was a tea party waiting for you to mark your aging process:

Let’s just say getting old doesn’t feel so bad 😉

Thai grilled chicken

1 chicken, about 3 lbs (quartered)
3 garlic cloves
1 small bunch of coriander (coarsely chopped)
2 tbs fish sauce
2 tbs canola oil
2 tbs oyster sauce
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper.

  1. Use a hand blender to process all marinate ingredients (except chicken) until smooth.
  2. In a large oven-proof skillet, marinate chicken for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 450 F.
  4. Bake chicken (covered by a piece of aluminum foil) for 45′-50′.
  5. Broil for another 5′.
  6. Serve hot.
