Pasta with mushroom garlic sauce

Pasta with Mushroom garlic sauce

For 4 servings

2 lbs fresh pasta (cooked)
2 tbs butter
2 tbs olive oil
10 garlic cloves (minced)
2 lbs mixed mushrooms
1 tsp dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
100 ml heavy cream
2 tsp cornstarch
Parsley (chopped), optional
Parmesan (shredded), optional

  1. In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Toss in mushrooms, and dried basil.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook until just tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add heavy cream + 2 tsp cornstarch.
  7. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  8. Serve with pasta, chopped parsley and shredded parmesan if using.
