Pasta with Mushroom garlic sauce

For 4 servings
2 lbs fresh pasta (cooked)
2 tbs butter
2 tbs olive oil
10 garlic cloves (minced)
2 lbs mixed mushrooms
1 tsp dried basil
Salt and pepper to taste
100 ml heavy cream
2 tsp cornstarch
Parsley (chopped), optional
Parmesan (shredded), optional
- In a large skillet, heat butter and olive oil.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Toss in mushrooms, and dried basil.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook until just tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add heavy cream + 2 tsp cornstarch.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Serve with pasta, chopped parsley and shredded parmesan if using.
