Beer batter waffles

325 g all-purpose flour
4 g dry yeast
1 pinch salt
45 g sugar
2 eggs
200 ml milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
125 ml beer
15 g canola oil
90 g butter (melted)

  1. In a large mixing bow, whisk together flour, yeast, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add eggs.
  3. Slowly add milk + vanilla extract. Whisk constantly.
  4. Add beer.
  5. Finally add oil + melted butter. Whisk until combined.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and let batter rest for 1-2 hours (or over night in fridge).
  7. Use waffle maker according to instruction.
